In the context of certain bigoted CON cults attacking Ramakrishna Vivekananda - Part 4

 The fourth and the final part - 

In Ramakrishna-Vivekananda tradition the catholicity of Hinduism is the most important aspect. Hinduism is vast, great, wide as sky, deep as ocean. It does not need to attack any other religion to survive. It has many sects, many creeds, all following their paths sincerely for their end goal - attaining the supreme knowledge, of oneness with the divinity, one's real nature. Hinduism does not depend on any personality, does not depend on any particular scripture, does not provide injunctions. Hinduism believes that as different streams come down the mountain and spread in diverse dirctions only to be reunited in the vast body of ocean, so also people of different tendencies, straight or crooked come to the Supreme Being by following different paths. As Sri Ramakrishna said, if you are sincere, you will achieve the highest ideal, truth will reveal itself to a sincere sattvik seeker of any tradition, but never to a fundamentalist tamasic. If we look into the profile of every great freedom fighter of India who loved their nation and sacrificed for the same, in some way or the other they were influenced and inspired by Swami Vivekananda or Ramakrishna, starting from Sri Aurobindo, Bagha Jatin, Kanailal Datta, to Deshbandhu, Ramkrishna Biswas, Hemchandra Ghosh, Subhas Chandra Bose and many other luminaries and key figures were ardent and sincere followers of the ideology. Gandhiji followed one dogmatic path and valued it over everything else, so even if he was respectful of the Ramakrishna Vivekananda tradition, he was not a true follower. For many of these freedom fighters, love and respect for their ideology, religion and culture became synonymous with their love for their nation. In it, they saw Vivekananda's ideal reflected - love your country, your mother as the only God for the next fifty years. The raw courage, love for an ideal, manliness and self sacrifice will lead to self purity and unselfishness, needed for realizing one's own real nature. Vivekananda's pranaam mantra - "Oh India forget not......" reflects clearly that ideal. Vivekananda's ideal was reflected in their sacrifice, in their dayly life, in their work. Teggart's secret report revealed by Ladlimohan RoyChoudhury states how much the British police detested Ramakrishna Mission and Swami Vivekananda. They went to the extent of character assassination of Swami Akhandananda and Swami Abhedananda, the two brother disciples of Vivekananda and deemed Vivekananda as more dangerous after his death. Rowlatt committee report clearly finger pointed at Swami Vivekananda being the most dangerous influence on the nation. British first banned his books and then let only the spiritual part to be promoted, not man-making and character building part. Vivekananda was exluded from all public libraries and school curriculum, a tradition that was carried out by the independent government of India post transfer of power. The message of Vivekananda was lost on the masses. Politics took over the country and we can all see the consequences.

Now, a certain sect which originated in Americas and which was mired in controversies one after the other after its founder's death, came to despise Ramakrishna Vivekananda idealogy. Being promoted later by the Indian diaspora supremely ignorant of greater tenets of Hinduism and controlled by white Christian converts, it imposed the Churchianity in the garb of Hindusim, replacing Christ for Hindu Vaishnava tradition, claiming themselves to be a true legacy bearer of Sri Chaitanya. This sect had almost died a premature death in the when its gurus and garb holders (without any formal sannyas as per the dashnami tradition of Hinduism) proclaimed themselves as sadhus and came into headlong confrontation with the Christian traditions. The converts were equally dogmatic and fundamentalist hate mongers as their counterparts in their ex-tradition. And scandal after scandals were dug out of their closets. In the later times, the immigrant Indians, to find their tradition and identity ifused new life by prtecting and promoting this cult because it promoted vegetarianism and in protection of cows, along with ahimsa as the chief tenet, something these wealthy Hindus coming from certain lineages mostly belonging to the Jain influenced areas of Gujarat and Rajasthan and parts of South, believed in and could identify with. Therefore fuinds poured in and this cult also began to get a strong foothold in India, making Hindus awefully ignorant of onw diverse tradition believe that they represented true Hinduism and that all others - Shakti worship and non vegetarianism are false and promoted by false, fake gurus. They began attacking Ramakrishna Vivekananda because in India, as in West, they faced a formidable opposition within Hindusim - their dogmatic, fundamentalism and hatred for any practice other than theirs or any belief other than theirs - Chruchianity of the middle ages contrasted with the wonderful catholicity of Ramakrishna Vivekananda tradition, the grand philosophy of Sri Aurobindo and the crest jewel of Hindu philosophy - Advaita Vedanta. So this cult started a very cunning tactics, they started harping on vegetarianism and non violence - two aspects they know every ignorant Hindu would fall for, especially Hindus who practice these two are from the wealthier business communities infused by Jainism. They very cunningly usurped the grand philosophy of Bhagavat Gita and tried to interprete in their own, narrow, dogmatic way. They disdained and derided Durga and Kali worship, their religion became concentrated in their kitchen. To commercialize their religion they infused a corporate culture, their so called sadhus were nothing but brand amabassadors of their cults, aligned with some corporates for their money spinning cult in the garb of promoting social services, preached hatred towards other culture and tradition and gained popularity among certain sections of Hindus who advocate one particular way of living - theirs only.

Suffice it to say that this cunning cult, with narrow, perverted religious outlook, thriving by attacking and abusing Ramakrishna and Vivekananda and other saints and sages of Hinduism who do not follow their prescribed ideals, is dominated by foreigners, the converts who find the fundamentalism very similar to their X-religion and hence more appealing to their inherent nature. Swami Vivekananda had cautioned Hindus against such an eventuality. The foreigners, who do not under India, her culture, her vastness, her catholicity and cannot love India, can never become Hindu, even less so preachers of Hinduism, because in that avatar they will only preach hatred and bigotry as this cult is doing. therefore its Hindu adherents, the sincere seekers, who really love India, need to ask themselves a poignant question - is this what they stand for? this visceral hatred for other traditions or cultures, is their religion only in kitchen! Is promoting one God over others the real and true Hinduism? This cult has also attacked Ramakrishna Vivekananda tradition for worshipping other ideals like that of Jesus Christ. Being converts, the churchianists among them prove their loyalty to their newfounded "ideology" by showing their disrespect to the founder of their former religion. And again Ramakrishna Vivekananda ideology is the stumbling block - the committer of the "grave offsense" of worshipping Christ. Their convoluted, dogmatic, one sided, brainswashed logic is evident in their arguments and falwed logic. When pointed out that even Rama and Krishna wre non vegetarian, even dashavatars excluding Buddha perpetrated violence, they give the excuse that they were Khstatriyas and hence were immune to their prescribed ways. In other words, they paint their chosen ideal as a hypocrite.

I shall spare the reader of the long and ardous torture. Suffice it to say that Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose said that Indian freedom movement will not end by driving out the British. It will continue becausetheir are self seeking Indians who want to dominate and also foreign ideals will infiltrate the nation that will be dangerous. Every idealist India, every patriotic Indian, every true Hindu has to fight this contamination to their nation, to their culture and religion. The greatest and gravest danger of Hinduism is not from outside, but from within, not from other religious traditions, but from certain sects and cults that hijack teh very cause and essence of Hindusim as this cult has proven it to be. Therefore, call to every patriotic Indian, every lover of Ramakrishna Vivekananda and otehr great traditions of Hinduism and India, every sincere spiritual seekers belonging to every great religion of India - be Hindu, Islam, Sikh, or Christianity, is to fight these hatefulness, these bigotry promoting cults and their foreign promoters, so that we can lead India to a purer and better future inline with the dreams and visions of our great freedom fighters - Bagha Jatin, Surya Sen, Aurobindo, Chittaranjan Das, Subhas Chandra Bose and others. Arise, awake and stop not till this goal is reached.
