Swami Vivekananda in London 5 - The circular motion, the centreless state of energy, the planes of consciousness, singularity

Swami Vivekananda stated in one lecture that the whole of creation is an undifferentiated mass of energy. There is no space for anything else outside the creation to be included in the creation. The entire creation will fall apart if an attempt is made to get any smallest particle from outside the creation (universe) to be put into the creation. The universe is like a pitcher filled to the brim and any mass not generated within creation, if placed within it will collapse the universe. This is because energy has filled the universe to its brim. Modern science proves that matter and energy are synonymous. Therefore universe is full of particles of matter and hence can be compared to one solidified mass. There cannot be any space left in a condensed solidified mass and any attempt to disrupt it will only result in its collapse.
Circular Motion- Swamiji said that the linear motion is only apparently linear, but in actual practice all motions will take place in a perfect circle if there is no resistance or force. Therefore if somebody throws a stone standing in one place the stone, in absence of any forces or resistance, will travel a circular path and come back to the person, even if it takes it millions of years. By circular Swamiji actually meant curved path (elliptical).
Swamiji also said about the all pervading undifferentiated energy that energy has no centre. In fact it has an infinite number of centres, as every point in is its centre. Any source of motion or energy or any force has a centre or origin. But the universal cosmic energy has no such centre, that is why it is all pervading. It permeates everything and therefore has centre everywhere. Every point can be said to be its origin. Any differentiated mass will have dimensions. Dimensions limit it. A circle has its centre which limits it. But undifferentiated cosmic energy is illimitable and hence has neither dimension nor centre. It is beyond all measurements of space and time. That is the reason why finite minds cannot cogitate on it.
Hiranyagarbha - Singularity- While explaining Hiranyagarbha (golden egg of Hindu scriptures) swamiji said that it is the intermediate state between manifest and unmanifest (avyakt). From manifest we cannot get into unmanifest directly, similarly unmanifest does not become manifest directly. It has to go through the state of Hiranyagarbha or the cosmic egg. This seems to be so similar to the modern concept of Big Bang where singularity denotes that state of transition between manifest and unmanifest. State of singularity is also like an egg or seed which contains the entire mass of the universe in latent form, which burst forth from it, releasing tremendous energy. Mind can only go till this Hiranyagarbha state but not till the avyakt state. Beyond Hiranyagarbha, mind with ego and intellect perishes. Therefore this state cannot be explained through reasoning but is only a matter of realization of highest form.
Immortality - law of conservation of energy - While explaining the different scientific states of universe, Swamiji could easily raise the mind of the listener to the highest level. The audience could experience the grandest cosmic secrets and hence their minds soared to realize the sacred truths being spoken of. Hence his lectures were so appealing. He explained about the conservation of energy, that the grand cosmic energy never decreases, it is always constant and hence nothing is lost from the universe. One state is transformed into another state and hence we are all immortals. Our destruction means only creation at some other parts, in some other forms and hence we always remain as matter or energy, although forms are changed. The same atoms that constitute our body may go to create a star billions of light years away and hence our remnants are there in the universe, always.
Planes of consciousness: The sense bound world is in our conscious plane. When it gets transformed into memory it moves into unconscious plane and new thoughts and ideas and new sense stimuli replace them in the conscious plane. However if we wish we can fish out the information from the unconscious or sub conscious plane, sometimes through special processes, esp. if the memory is very ancient like that of other lives. Superconscious plane is one that transcends the limitations of time, space and causation. Therefore this plane is not easily attainable. There is nothing called miracle as everything follows a law, even the so called miracles have a scientific reason and obey certain laws, only these laws are not sense bound. Since they are not obtained by our ordinary sense universe we call them as miracles. All ideas are vibrations of energy and nerves control the ideas. Subtler the nerves, subtler are the ideas which are far above the gross material universe and hence not attainable by the conscious plane. Sometimes, if some senses are powerful enough, the sights and sounds of the subtle world manifest through that powerful medium of senses like olfactory or auditory. Hence we see, hear or smell staff which are not there in ordinary sense bound world. That is the reason behind "psychic" experiences. The subtle ideas of subconscious states can manifest themselves if fit stimulus is provided. Similarly the subtle vibrations of super conscious state manifest with its own ideas  if a certain scientific process is followed as is described in Raja Yoga. These are the reasons behind extra sensory perceptions. The conscious state then goes to the causal state, transcending even the subtle state. Beyond causal state is inexplicable as the mind and ego do not exist there so nobody can say what happens beyond causal. That is the state of Turiya or transcendental experience.
